Thank You for helping a purple guy help the kids in Kansas City!

Thank You to everyone who made donations to Operation Breakthrough in support of my attempt to qualify for the Boston Marathon by running the Chicago Marathon. Over $1000 was raised to help keep the kids at Operation Breakthrough safe on their busses!
The mission of Operation Breakthrough is to help children who are living in poverty develop to their fullest potential by providing them a safe, loving and educational environment. They provide quality child care and education for children of the working poor. They are located at 3039 Troost in Kansas City MO. They have 674 children enrolled in their program right now. The money raised was used to purchase seat belts for their 4 buses. They use the buses to transport the children to their location in the morning from area homeless shelters and other agencies and back at night. They also use the buses to take the kids on field trips.
