Success Story - Bassett Furniture Direct

In early 2002, Jeff Barnett, CEO of Bassett Furniture Direct in Kansas City , knew furniture. He also knew that if he brought Bassett Furniture Direct to the Kansas City market, he could make it successful. Jeff also knew how important it was to incorporate technology into his new business.

What Jeff didn't know was computers.

Through a referral, Jeff found out about Versent. Since that day, Versent has provided all the technology support for Bassett Furniture Direct. Versent has been involved with the Kansas City Bassett operation from the beginning. We installed the Network and Phone cabling at the first store in Olathe during the store's construction. We've been keeping Bassett's computers up and running with the Versent VitalCheck service since spring of 2002.

The purple guys have given Jeff peace of mind with technology and Jeff's been able to concentrate on growing his business. And he has been going gangbusters! In addition to the Olathe store, Bassett has opened another store in Independence , a business office and warehouse in Lenexa and has plans for two more stores to open in south Kansas City, MO and in the Northland in the next year or so.
