Success Story - Bishop Spencer Place

Back in June , Sharon Eby , Director of Human Resources at Bishop Spencer Place ( www.bishopspencerplace.org ), was frustrated. Bishop Spencer Place is a not-for-profit, faith-based community that provides an exceptional, secure lifestyle for men and women over 60 years of age. Their web site was in need of a facelift and some upgrades. Problem was, Bishop Spencer Place had engaged an organization to change the web site late in 2003 and it was June of 2004. The difficulty people were having navigating the old web site was now matched by 6 months of difficulty of getting the new web site up and running!

Here's where the purple guys came in. Versent had already been taking care of Bishop Spencer Place 's computers and network under our VersentCheck service plan. We let Sharon know we could help her with her web site as well. She engaged the purple guys web development team and in a few short weeks the new Bishop Spencer Place web site was live on the Internet.

Sharon said that everyone loves the new web site. The comment she hears the most is how easy it is to get around in. Since Versent designed the site to work with an end user content update tool, she and her staff are now able to update their site and they even created a new volunteer page. Sharon also said that the job application page has seen some great traffic.

As for working with purple guy and web developer Preston Bowman, Sharon said the sort of thing we love to hear: "I can't tell you how much I enjoyed working with Preston . He is a GEM!!!
